The Washington Post, New York Times and other fake news outlets have incessantly promoted this false story on James Comey asking for additional funding before getting fired by Trump. It’s not true. Interestingly, Bill Clinton fired his FBI director one day before officials found Vince Foster’s body at a park just outside Washington DC, but you’re not supposed to know that.
Comey never advanced the Russian investigation before getting fired. This is a distorted narrative being promoted to spark hysteria from the left, and it’s working.
(The Daily Wire) After The New York Times set off a flurry of rumors by reporting that FBI Director James Comey had asked Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein for more funding for his investigation into possible Russian ties to the Trump campaign, prompting President Trump to fire Comey, Acting FBI Director McCabe told the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday that the FBI did not ask for additional funding.
