Patriot of the Month (March)

Doctor of optometry and liberty loving patriot, Senator Rand Paul is the March Patriot of the Month. —>

Rand Paul, Kelley Paul

Rand Paul has carried on his father’s legacy, the Kentucky senator shares Ron Paul’s libertarian view of foreign policy and individual liberty, with a conservative spin.  Paul is now serving his 6th term in the Senate where he has taken a strong stance for the Constitution.

Before becoming a politician, he graduated with a doctorate from Duke University.  Paul regularly served on trips with Doctors Without Borders.  His love of country and frustration with corrupt elements of the government led him to follow in his father’s footsteps to eventually become a US senator. Until Donald Trump came along, Paul was a strong running candidate for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Race.

While Paul is technically a member of the “Republican” party, he is aligned closer with the Tea Party/libertarian movement.  He has been a vocal opponent of dragnet surveillance programs that violate the Fourth Amendment.  He is also an advocate for the Second Amendment, common sense foreign policy and a balanced budget.

One of Paul’s on-going projects is the Waste Report in which he exposes the wasteful spending habits of the U.S. government.  In October, he reported that agencies granted $500,00 to the National Science Foundation to research the impact of taking “selfies” hon our happiness. No, that is not a joke, you can read more about it HERE.

The bully MSM and corrupt establishment that mistreated Ron Paul has done the same to his son. Most recently Rand was locked out of a screening room and denied access to review the new healthcare bill set to replace ObamaCare.

Paul’s “Obamacare Replacement Act” was touted as “perfect” by We the Vigilant’s Benjamin Knight on “The Maverick” Podcast.
