Gospel singer and pastor Kim Burrell censored for Christian beliefs. --->
Gospel singer and pastor Kim Burrell lost her radio show at Texas Southern University’s KTSU-FM 90.9 after leftists labeled her recent Church sermon “homophobic” .
“That perverted homosexual spirit is a spirit of delusion and confusion and has deceived many men and women, and it has caused a strain on the body of Christ,” Burrell said at Love and Liberty Fellowship Church in Houston.
Following online circulation of video footage of her comments, Social Justice Warriors and LGBTs branded the sermon as “hate speech”.
Various D-list celebrities and personalities from the entertainment industry also responded by virtue signaling on social media.
“I condemn hate speech of any kind,” Singer-songwriter Pharrell Williams stated on Twitter. “I unequivocally repudiate any and all hateful comments against the LGBTQ community. Actually I’m tired of that label. We all belong to the same community, a shared community called humanity,” Janelle Monae posted on Instagram.
Leftist psycho Ellen DeGeneres cancelled Burrell’s scheduled appearance on her show.
Additionally, the pastor lost her radio program she had been hosting for five years.
This is yet another example of politically correct crybabies resorting to censorship and bully tactics to shame people who don’t align with their myopic worldview. In their minds, Christianity is unacceptable, traditional values are “hateful” and anyone who commits the thought crime of defending biblical principles ought to be smeared and ostracized.
Jesus says in John 15:18, “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”
These are prophetic words.
1 Peter 3:17
For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
1 John 3:13
Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.
“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man!
If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
1 Peter 4:14
If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.
