Special Snowflake Leftists at UCLA Ban Term “Illegal Immigrant”

Pseudointellectuals at university triggered by free speech. --->

The University of California at Los Angeles student government passed a resolution last week banning the term “illegal immigrant” as part of the “Drop the I-Word” campaign peddled by Communists and Social Justice Warriors on campus.

Leftists at the university branded the term a “derogatory I-Word” that “endangers basic human rights including the presumption of innocence and the right to due process.”

Yes, you read that right. A term defining people residing without authorization in the United States “endangers basic human rights.”  This isn’t about human rights, this is about the left gaining a stranglehold on language and culture by way of “political correctness”.

“Human beings need to be central in immigration discussions in order to move toward a more civilized and humane tone in public discourse and policies on immigration,” the resolution concludes.

The left-wing trend of banning speech under the guise of “tolerance” is further proof that universities across the country have become Orwellian thought-control propaganda camps aimed at indoctrination as opposed to education.

Elsewhere, universities are preparing to operate as “sanctuary cities” for illegals even if they face severe penalties for violating federal law.  Additionally, professors are openly referring to President-elect Donald Trump as a “white supremacist” – the latest Social Justice buzz-phrase that has now been rendered completely meaningless.

Modern day liberalism is a mental disorder.
