How will the left spin this as “racist?” —>
The supposedly “racist” and “hateful” Republican nominee Donald Trump visited Mexico today to hold a press conference in front of the onlooking media on immigration and specifically, his proposal for a wall along the border.
President Enrique invited Trump to the event even after blasting the real estate mogul on social media. Enrique also invited Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, but the former Secretary of State failed to show up.
The press conference directly refuted claims from the regressive left that the billionaire businessman doesn’t have the “temperament” to engage with other world leaders. In addition to illegal immigration along America’s border, presidential Trump also discussed Mexico’s shared objective of protecting its southern border from Central American illegals while emphasizing that the issue was “Not just between our two countries but including the illegal immigration and migration from Central and South Americans and from other regions which impact security and finances in both Mexico and the United States”
“This is a humanitarian disaster: the dangerous treks, the abuse by gangs and cartels, and the extreme physical dangers – and it must be solved quickly.”
The Republican candidate also took aim at globalist trade deals and specifically, NAFTA:
“NAFTA is a 22-year-old agreement that must be updated to reflect the realities of today,” Trump stated. “There are many improvements that could be made that would make both Mexico and the United States stronger and keep industry in our hemisphere, we have tremendous competition from China and all over the world – keep it in our hemisphere.”
“Workers in both of our countries need a pay raise very desperately – in the United States it’s been 18 years wages have been going down.”
“There’s a lot of value that can be created for both countries by working beautifully together – and that I am sure will happen,”
Meanwhile, Clinton was likely screaming at her staffers (in between naps) for not changing the media narrative to offer her more attention than her adversary.
The event was a complete success and home run for the Trump campaign.
