Police department at site of DNC disappointed by anti-cop rhetoric being exploited for votes. —>
The Philadelphia Police Department noted in an open letter posted to a law enforcement Facebook page that officers near the site of the Democratic National Convention were “shocked and saddened” by presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s choice of speakers who will be perpetuating anti-cop rhetoric without offering the other side an opportunity to share a contrarian perspective.
A letter penned to to the Democratic party reads:
“President John McNesby and the membership of Philadelphia Lodge 5 FOP are shocked and saddened by the planned choice of speakers at the DNC in Philadelphia.
The Fraternal Order of Police is insulted, and will not soon forget, that the Democratic Party and Hillary Clinton are excluding the widows, and other family members of Police Officers killed in the line of duty who were victims of explicit, and not implied racism, and ‘being on duty in blue.’
It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country. Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible.”
During a week in which Julian Assange’s Wikileaks proved that the Clinton campaign conspired with the Democratic party establishment to take out Bernie Sanders, collude with the mainstream media and manufacture fake anti-Trump protests, this letter will only make things worse for leftists as they enter a convention marred with controversy.
