The Formula for Liberty

Liberty and freedom is about the pursuit of prosperity and happiness –.

Liberty and freedom is about the pursuit of prosperity and happiness through individualism, free markets, free trade, free enterprise and ownership, all free from as much government interference as possible.

Personal liberty is about allowing people to do whatever they want as long as it does not infringe on others rights – when one believes in liberty they do not believe in any absolute social outcome, they believe in allowing Society to manifest on their own and naturally work out their own social issues without allowing government-mandated legislation influence a desired particular social outcome.

You have the right to pursue happiness but happiness is not a right.

Liberty in the marketplace is the unbelief in any particular economic outcome, it is to trust in the spontaneous natural order that results when the state does not intervene in human volition and human cooperation.  It permits the markets to work out their problems for themselves, build an economy for themselves, take risks, accept responsibility for the results and make their own choices free of government involvement.

People have a right to seek services but they do not have a right to force others to give them services. Under the principles of liberty, self-ownership and the pursuit of happiness, people providing services have the right to charge whatever they want and they have the right to decide for themselves who they are going to service and not service.

This path will lead Humanity towards building great civilizations, providing security, generating wealth and protecting our people from systematic rights violations. In this sense, only liberty can truly fend off tyranny which is the true eternal enemy of mankind.

The founding fathers intended government to be very small and restrained as much as possible and would be outraged by the bureaucracy that we have allowed to plague our economy and society.

I encourage all of you to learn about the teachings of our founding fathers and what liberty means as it relates to our constitutional republic.
