Clinton lectures Americans on Trump’s foreign policy positions.
Hillary Clinton labeled Donald Trump’s foreign policy positions as “disturbing” in a CNN interview with Jake Tapper’s “State of the Union” on 5/1.
Referencing Trump’s views on foreign affairs, the Democratic presidential candidate (and presumptive nominee) said “I certainly read about it and I think it’s quite concerning. His talk about pulling out of NATO, his talk about letting other countries have nuclear weapons, which runs counter to 70 years of bipartisan national security policy, his idea that he has a ‘secret plan’ to get rid of ISIS that he’s not going to tell anybody. I found it disturbing.”
Clinton, the same failed Secretary of State who used the position to enrich herself by doing favors for world leaders who donated to the Clinton Foundation, heavily criticized Trump’s foreign policy despite being guilty of (among many other offenses):
-Destroying Libya by pursuing the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi thereby enabling ISIS to take over the region.
-Criminal incompetence (probably on purpose) with regard to the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi.
-Criminal incompetence with regard to storing national security secrets on a private email server.
-Blatant lying to the victims of the Benghazi attacks.
-“Misplacement” of $6 billion dollars as Secretary of State.
“I, as a senator from New York for eight years, as secretary of state for four years, I know that the stakes are high, that we face some real challenges and dangers in the world. And I don’t think loose talks about loose nukes, I don’t think turning our back on our strongest allies, I don’t think pretending you have some sort of secret plan is a very smart way to go forward in leading the world, which is what we must do.”
The interview was a glimpse into the level of cognitive dissonance exhibited by Clinton and her supporters.
Of course, Clinton News Network’s Jake Tapper listened obediently while refusing to ask tough questions as the queen of the military industrial complex lectured Americans on foreign policy positions that would benefit the U.S. and not the U.N.
Evidently, starting proxy wars with Russia and overthrowing the leaders of sovereign nations who pose no security threat to the United States is not “disturbing” at all.
In fantasy land.
