CNN guest mentions Hillary Clinton’s 1975 defense of a convicted child rapist.
CNN’s Carol Costello immediately ended an interview segment Tuesday after her guest brought up Hillary Clinton’s 1975 legal defense of a child rapist who was guilty of victimizing a 12-year-old girl.
NewsMax’s Steve Maizberg appeared on “CNN Newsroom With Carol Costello” to discuss Donald Trump’s chances in the general election however the conversation quickly went somewhere CNN clearly didn’t want it to go.
Costello, a Trump supporter, said “When you get one-on-one, especially if it’s Hillary, Donald Trump will go places nobody is willing to go – where the media at this point isn’t willing to go: Bringing up Clinton’s women who say they were intimidated by Hillary. Having them come forward and speak. Any litany of issues that you can’t imagine.”
Costello interrupted in an effort to censor Maizberg, saying “I’m thinking that might not be a winning argument for Donald Trump right at this moment.”
Judson Phillips, who was also a guest on the show, agreed and said “That isn’t going to be a winning argument for Donald Trump.”
That’s when Maizberg committed the thought crime of questioning Hillary’s morality following what is now an infamous 1975 child rape case.
“Do you know how many young women in this in this country don’t even know that Bill Clinton was impeached? No, maybe they’ve heard of Monica Lewinsky. They don’t know the women that have accused Bill Clinton of sexual improprieties and that say they have been threatened and intimidated by Hillary Clinton,” he said.
“A girl who was raped by a pedophile that Hillary Clinton bragged about getting off,” Malzberg revealed before CNN’s Costello cut the interview short and tried to segway into a commercial break.
“Oh, come on,” she said.
Malzberg persisted, “What do you mean?” he asked, “You don’t want to hear it? That Hillary Clinton is on tape bragging about, as a lawyer, getting off on a technicality. That woman now says ‘Hillary ruined my life. That’s not fair,'” he concluded.
Costello prevented the conversation from going any further and promptly ended the transmission before Melzberg could unleash more truth bombs.
Of course, the Newsmax journalist was right and Hillary did, in fact, brag about getting a child rapist’s prison time down to just 10 months despite being primed with the knowledge that her client was guilty. Don’t expect the corporate media to hold Clinton accountable for her abhorrent behavior though, she has the corporate media in her back pocket – especially the Clinton News Network (TM).
