Good Samaritan takes advantage of second amendment to save lives.
In what was a clear example of the resounding benefit of concealed carry laws, a 7-eleven shopper reportedly used his concealed carry firearm on Sunday to stop a man from attacking customers with a small ax.
Had nobody been armed the incident would have turned deadly.
KOMO News reported that a masked man entered the Seattle convenient store and began “swinging a hatchet at both the customer and the store clerk,” before targeting the cashier with his weapon.
“We don’t know if the intent was to commit a robbery because the suspect didn’t say anything,” King County Sheriff’s Sergeant Cindi West said.
An armed 60-year-old good Samaritan who witnessed the attack quickly responded by shooting and killing the criminal suspect, the man had been a frequent customer at the store for the last 12 years.
“This could have been a lot worse,” Sgt. West said to a local Fox affiliate. “The clerk could be the one laying there dead on the floor right now.”
“We believe had this good Samaritan not acted, we might have a dead clerk on our hands right now,” West concluded.
