The voters have spoken, the political establishment is at war with the American people.
South Carolina, a state that usually stands with establishment hacks, saw Donald Trump win big at Saturday’s primary in which the real estate mogul walked away with 44 delegates and 32.5% of the vote.
Nobody else came close.
The primary was an indicator that voters are serious about Trump and will continue to show up in droves to support him. While the establishment stammers to back-up it’s leading puppet, that being Florida Senator Marco Rubio, blue collar Republicans and even some Democrats have sent a loud and clear message to the global elite.
They are fed up with the lies and the corruption and the hypocrisy of the current regime. They are fed up with Wall Street bankers and corporate lobbyists and multinational corporations and special interests controlling the nation’s political leaders.
Following his big victory, Trump reiterated his policy promises including his intention to build a wall at the southern border and repeal Obamacare.
“We’re going to start winning for our country because our country doesn’t win anymore,” Trump said with wife Melania and daughter Ivanka by his side.
The real estate tycoon leads the overall race with 55 delegates to Cruz’ 11. Marco Rubio sits at a comfortable third with 10 while John Kasich and Ben Carson each have five and three respectively.
Exit polls revealed that 4 in 10 voters were angry about the current state of the U.S. government with more than half saying they felt betrayed by the Republican Party. The polls and the primary results made it overwhelmingly clear that voters want change.
They want change not in the form of lofty rhetoric or carefully rehearsed sound bites, they want change in the form of an anti-establishment maverick who cannot be bought or sold.
They want change in the form of Donald J. Trump.
