Illegals given driver’s licenses that are valid throughout the entire country.
This source reported Monday that the feds handed out 605,000 licenses to undocumented immigrants in California in 2015. In 2013, Governor Jerry Brown signed AB60 into law thereby allowing the state to give a legal document to the 2.5 million illegals in California.
Officials said the law was designed to make roads “safer.” The licenses do not allow holders to fly on commercial airlines in the United States nor does it give the holder the right to work to seek permanent residency.
However, illegals with the document can legally drive anywhere in the country without facing any penalties.
“If you can approve policies that integrate immigrants, I think it’s a win-win for all people in a big state like California,” said Luis Alejo, a California Assembly Member and author of the bill. Source
The California Assembly never explained why illegals, who should technically be reprimanded for breaking the law, deserve licenses that are valid throughout the entire country when only 12 of the 50 states have similar license laws.
