Jimmy Carter Banned Iranian Immigrants From Entering U.S.

Liberal media ignores historical comparison between Trump and Carter.

The liberal media has been lambasting Donald Trump for his view on temporarily halting Muslim immigration, but they’re ignoring the historicity of his proposal.

As evidenced by the video above, Jimmy Carter banned Iranian immigrants from entering the country during a time of crisis. The difference between Carter and Trump is the billionaire real estate mogul is running for president during a time where political correctness is running rampant.

Consequently, everything Trump says is deemed hateful, racist, homophobic and xenophobic and some liberals literally want to assassinate him as a result.

Because nothing screams “tolerance” like murder, right leftists?

Regardless of what corporate controlled mainstream media thinks, Trump’s plan is similar to Carter’s and it makes sense given that the FBI cannot adequately vet Muslim immigrants.

Furthermore, a staggering number of Muslims sympathize with ISIS and believe that “Shariah Law” should govern the United States:

Most recently, a poll from the Center for Security Policy released data showing “25% of those polled agreed that violence against Americans here in the United States is justified as a part of the global jihad” and 51% of those polled, “agreed that Muslims in America should have the choice of being governed according to Shariah.” Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women. _Donald Trump

Evidently, it’s going to take more mass shootings by Islamists on U.S. soil before the regressive left understands that Jihad is incompatible with our constitution and incompatible with liberty.

However, they do appear to think radical Islamic terrorism is trendy and cool – considering that TIME Magazine recently  nominated an ISIS leader for its “person of the year” award.

  • There’s an essential difference between the words “some” and “all”. Carter invoked economic sanctions on Iran (the country), and restricted SOIME visas of individuals. Trump wants a (he says temporary) ban on ALL Muslims seeking entry to the US for any reason. Not the same thing, by a long shot. A half-truth comparison at best.
