Republican front-runner Donald Trump claims President Obama protects ISIS.
A recent episode of “The Michael Savage Show” gained mainstream press when Donald Trump blamed Obama for ISIS: “Well, you [as president] would knock the hell out of the training camps, that one’s a given, and it’s incredible we don’t do it [since] we know where they are, it’s almost like, ‘are we protecting these people?” (source)
I’m not sure if we’re actively protecting them, but we definitely created them.
According to secret U.S government documents, NATO and the United States backed Al-Qaeda in a deliberate attempt to destabilize the Middle East. U.S arms trafficking eventually created another “boogieman” that emerged as ISIS. The document stated: “The Salafist [sic], the Muslim Brotherhood and Al-Qaeda are the major forces driving the insurgency in Syria, the West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support this opposition, while Russia, China and Iran ‘support the Assad regime.”
The reality is we’ve always had a villain to rally against. Since 2001: Osama Bin-Laden, Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi, Al-Qaeda, Saddam Hussein, Bashar Al Assad, and now ISIS. U.S involvement on both sides of foreign conflict only compounds our country’s putrid global image and results in even more excuses to violate the 4th amendment.
While Trump’s bombastic nature may alienate some voters – I applaud his recognition of inconvenient truths like this one. We cannot turn our heads from criminal elements of the establishment who intentionally or foolishly create enemies abroad. We are in the midst of an exciting time to be alive. As forces of wickedness seek to destroy God’s creation, an economic crash looms closer, vaccines continue to harm us, and planetary government becomes a reality, ignorance will only aid in our downfall.
