Despite promising more government transparency, the Obama Administration has set a record for denying federal documents under the Freedom of Information Act.
President Obama’s list of lies recently grew larger after a report revealed the administration’s apparent lack of transparency, a direct contradiction of Obama’s own Presidential decree.
For the second year in a row, requests for official documents have been denied in record numbers, which has made it increasingly difficult for journalists to do their jobs as the fourth estate of America.
This should not come as a surprise to the general public, who have been subject to a myriad of broken promises, such as:
-Nobody making less than $250,000 will receive a tax increase. (source).
-Corporate lobbyists will not influence the executive branch. (source).
-Congress will be given 5 days to read bills before signing them (source)
– A foreclosure prevention fund will be created for home owners (source)
-Obama: “We need to find a way forward to make sure that we can stop terrorists while protecting the privacy, and liberty, of innocent Americans”, votes to extend Patriot Act. (source)
-End income tax for seniors making less than $50,000 (source)
-Reduce the Veterans Administration claims backlog (source)
-Not eradicate your 2nd amendment rights (source)
-Support the labeling of all GMO foods (source)

Intentionally distorted misinformation exemplifies our current leadership, the antithesis of our Founding Fathers’ original vision for America.
