The Phasing Out Of Fathers

Part of being a vigilant citizen is being able to recognize psychological messages in mainstream advertisements.

In the video above, which aired on Father’s Day, actors depict their father-less lives and praise their mothers for raising them. Of course, I love my own mother to death.  She is responsible for who I am today, and I owe her the world.

However, the advertisement aired on Father’s Day!  A day commemorated to FATHERS, who themselves are just as responsible for raising their children.  The message being sent by Angel Soft is clear – fathers don’t matter.

No matter how badly the corporate elite try and change the definition of family, both the father AND the mother are equally as important.  They work TOGETHER to facilitate a positive, healthy environment for their children.

Fathers are not more important then mothers, thats why they are being phased out.
If they where important, then why are they disappering? More ametican families have dogs in their homes then dads.

Since when does this article state fathers are more important than mothers? It doesn’t, it talks about equality and how they are both just as important as each other.
